Who We Partner With

Hospitals, clinics, and specialists across Latin America.

The MTP network welcomes credentialed providers in Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Whether you run a multi-doctor clinic in Bogotá, a specialty practice in Panama City, or an individual surgery practice in Guadalajara, the application process is the same. Our partnerships team works through credentialing with you and routes vetted international patients to your practice once onboarding is complete.

What partnership with MTP looks like.

The operational substance behind every Network Partner relationship.

01

Pre-qualified patient referrals.

Patients we route to your practice have completed an intake call, shared medical history, and confirmed clinical fit before they ever reach you. You see suitable cases, not cold leads.

02

Patients arrive ready for care.

Each referred patient arrives with pre-travel records, scheduled appointments, and clinical context already shared with your team. You see patients ready for clinical work, not paperwork.

03

English-language communication handled.

Each international patient arrives with a bilingual MTP coordinator. You treat in your native language. The patient is supported in English from intake through follow-up.

04

Inclusion in the MTP provider network.

Featured in our patient-facing matching engine and doctor profiles. Your practice becomes a recommended option for patients evaluating Latin America for accredited, cost-effective care.

Provider Vetting

Our Vetting and Onboarding Process

Every provider in the MTP network undergoes a structured credentialing process before receiving patient referrals. We verify medical licenses, board certifications, facility accreditations, and malpractice history. Credentialing is reviewed annually.

Active medical license(s) verified with issuing authority. Each entry includes license number and a link to the public registry where it can be independently verified.

Board certification(s) for each specialty offered, with certificate number and a verification URL pointing to the issuing board’s registry.

Facility accreditation status (JCI, local Ministry of Health, or equivalent) plus full disclosure of malpractice and disciplinary history. Verified annually as part of network maintenance.

Procedures offered, languages spoken, and availability windows. Used by MTP’s matching system to route each inbound case to the right provider in the network.

How It Works

The MTP Coordination Model

MTP 7-step coordination model: from referral and intake through medical clearance and safe return home.
Step 1 · MTP handles

Referral and Patient Intake

Patient is received via referral, direct inquiry, or institutional channel. MTP collects medical history, imaging, and records. Initial eligibility screening is completed.

Step 2 · MTP handles

Clinical Matching and Provider Coordination

Based on the patient’s condition, location preference, and budget, MTP matches the case to a credentialed provider in our network. Virtual consultation is scheduled between patient and treating physician.

Step 3 · MTP handles with provider

Treatment Plan, Pricing, and Patient Approval

The treating physician develops the clinical plan. MTP structures the package pricing, including procedure, accommodation, transport, and support services. The patient reviews and approves.

Step 4 · MTP handles

Travel and Accommodation Logistics

Flights are coordinated. Recovery-appropriate accommodation is booked. Ground transport is arranged. The patient receives a complete itinerary with local contact information and emergency protocols.

Step 5 · Your institution delivers

Procedure with Accredited Specialists

The patient arrives prepared, with records delivered, pre-screening completed, and a dedicated MTP liaison on-site for non-clinical support. Your team performs the procedure.

Step 6 · MTP handles

Supported Recovery and Aftercare

Recovery accommodation is managed. Follow-up appointments are scheduled and attended with the patient. MTP coordinates between the treating physician and the patient’s home provider for continuity of care.

Step 7 · MTP handles

Medical Clearance and Safe Return

The treating physician provides clearance for travel. MTP coordinates repatriation logistics, including any special transport requirements. Post-return follow-up is arranged with the patient’s home physician.

FAQ

Questions from prospective partners.

What does MTP do differently from a medical tourism agency?

MTP is a patient-logistics operator, not a referral broker. We do not collect commissions from clinics or hospitals. Patients pay a disclosed service fee directly to MTP, and we coordinate the full non-clinical journey: travel, lodging, in-country transport, financial reconciliation, and post-return records. Our partner clinicians are selected on credentials and outcomes, not on commission structure.

What countries and specialties does MTP cover?

We coordinate care across Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, and Mexico, with local teams in Bogotá, Panama City, San José, and CDMX. Specialty coverage includes plastic surgery, orthopedics, bariatrics, dental implants and full-mouth reconstruction, fertility, stem cell therapy, hair restoration, and major diagnostic imaging.

What does the application and onboarding process look like?

After you submit the form below, our partnerships team reviews your application within two business days and contacts you to schedule a credential-verification call. The full process covers medical licensing, board certification, facility accreditation and malpractice history, and a practice profile. See the section above for what we verify and how.

Does it cost anything to apply or be in the network?

There is no application fee. Commercial terms, including whether and how patient referrals carry an introduction or coordination component, are reviewed during the post-application call and documented in the partner agreement before any patient is routed to your practice.

Does MTP provide support in languages other than English and Spanish?

English and Spanish are supported across all four countries. Portuguese, French, and German coordination is available for specific patient cohorts on request. Clinical documentation is translated to and from English as a standard part of the patient handoff.
