How we verify the doctors we send you to.
An administrative credential check, performed before we connect you with any surgeon and re-confirmed on a regular basis.

Confirm the credential exists.
We locate the doctor’s official medical licence and registration number with their national board.

Verify it is current and valid.
We confirm the licence is in good standing, has not lapsed, and is not under suspension.

Confirm the issuing authority.
We verify the credential is issued by the recognised national medical board, or equivalent regulatory body, in the doctor’s country of practice.
What this is not: we do not evaluate clinical skill. That is the medical board’s responsibility. Our role is to confirm the board’s verdict on a doctor is real, current, and on file before we recommend them to you.
Our Story
Why this company exists.
Medical Tourism Packages traces back to 2023, when a close friend of the founders, a mechanical engineer from Atlanta, needed orthopedic surgery that his health insurance would not cover. He came to Colombia for the procedure and stayed with one of the founders through recovery. The clinical care he eventually received was excellent. Getting there was harder than it should have been: finding the right surgeon, scheduling the procedure, and navigating a foreign healthcare system without a guide turned what should have been a clear decision into weeks of guesswork.
The clinical care he received was excellent. Getting there should not have been the hard part.
That experience made the case for the company. In 2024, the founders launched MTP to be the service that should have existed in 2023: a local team in Latin America that runs the logistics end-to-end, so patients can focus on getting better.
